Partido Reporma loses key Bohol officials to Lacson Presidential aspirant Panfilo “Ping” Lacson. Partido Reporma lost its key officials in Bohol province as they chose to stand by now-independent presidential aspirant Panfilo “Ping” Lacson. This was after the party shifted its support to Vice President Leni Robredo. The pro-Lacson group filed their irrevocable resignations from the party Saturday, even as they reiterated their “strong and continued commitment and unequivocal support” to Lacson’s candidacy. “From the very beginning, the support that we throw behind SENATOR LACSON was born out of pure volunteerism and not for any other personal considerations. We agreed among ourselves to voluntarily offer our time, money and effort in support of him because we believe that he is the only candidate who has the competence, experience, courage and strength to address the very serious crisis that our country is facing today due to the COVID-19 pandemic, corruption, unemployment, ballo...

Lacson-Sotto Tandem Eyes Central Financing Facility for MSMEs March 23, 2022 -  Instead of several government agencies offering various assistance packages to micro-, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) badly hit by the pandemic, why not pool their funds into one financing facility? Sen. Panfilo "Ping" M. Lacson said this would make it easier for MSMEs to seek assistance, whether they were affected by the pandemic, the conflict in Ukraine, climate change, or other calamities. Lacson said he and his vice presidential bet, Senate President Vicente "Tito" Sotto III, intend to set up such a mechanism should they be elected into office. "Ang iniisip namin ni Senate President Sotto rito, i-streamline natin. Bakit di natin i-pool sa isang pondo kung saan ilagak natin para alam ng MSME na tinamaan ng pandemya o anumang crisis, giyerang Russia sa Ukraine, sa climate change, kalamidad, meron agad silang pupuntahan na ahensya kung saan accessible sila (Senate President...
