  Pagkakaibigan nina Pacquiao, Lacson at Sotto, hindi masisira dahil sa eleksyon September 20, 2021 Mananatili ang pagiging magkaibigan nina Senate President Tito Sotto III, Senators Manny Paquiao at Panfilo “Ping” Lacson. Ito ang tiniyak ni Sotto kahit sila ay pare-parehong kakandidato sa 2022 elections. Pahayag ito ni Sotto makaraang magpasya si Pacquiao na kumandidato na maging standard bearer ng Partido Demokratiko Pilipino-Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban) sa susunod na halalan. Makakatunggali ni Pacquiao sa pagkapangulo si Lacson na ka-tandem naman ni Sotto. Diin ni Sotto, isang araw lang naman ang eleksyon kaya hindi ito dapat makasira sa kanilang pagkakaibigan. Sina Sotto, Lacson at Pacquiao ay magkakasama sa grupo sa Senado na binansagang “macho bloc”. *********
