Lacson: Massive Govt Internal Cleansing to Enhance, Not Disrupt, Public Service January 29, 2022 -  Enhanced, not disrupted. This will be the state of public services rendered by the government following a massive internal cleansing in the first 100 days of a Lacson Presidency. This assurance came from Partido Reporma standard-bearer Sen. Panfilo "Ping" M. Lacson, who stressed Saturday that the cleansing will be evidence-based and follow the rule of law. Such a massive internal cleansing will not be indiscriminate. It will be based on evidence against public servants who engage in corruption and other wrongdoing instead of helping their fellow Filipinos)," Lacson said in an interview on DZRH on Saturday. "This is without sacrificing public service. Yan ang objective, m

Senators on presidential interviews: Ping Lacson ‘came prepared’ Partido Reporma chairman and standard-bearer Sen. Panfilo “Ping” Lacson came well-prepared for the interviews of candidates vying to succeed President Rodrigo Duterte, his fellow senators said. “He was well-prepared and well-researched; similar to how he is in the Senate during debates on the budget and other legislation,” Senator Sonny Angara told Politiko when sought for reaction on the recent interviews participated in by presidential aspirants. Senator Joel Villanueva said the interviews showed Lacson is the most experienced among presidential hopefuls for 2022 elections, having served the country for nearly 18 years as a lawmaker.

Guanzon votes to disqualify Marcos; says ‘powerful politician’ may be behind case delay Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, January 27)—  Commission on Elections (Comelec) Commissioner Rowena Guanzon on Thursday revealed she voted to disqualify Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos from the 2022 presidential race. Guanzon — the presiding officer of the First Division handling the consolidated petitions against Marcos — disclosed her vote in an interview with CNN Philippines. Kasi  convicted  siya  of a crime involving moral turpitude," Guanzon told  News.PH. [Translation: My decision, my vote, is that he is really disqualified. Because he's convicted of a crime involving moral turpitude. He did not file his income tax return, he did not pay taxes.

Ping: Anong 'Lack of Groundwork'?

Ping: Anong 'Lack of Groundwork'? "I risked my life countless times, kicking doors while leading my men to save people I didn’t even know. I fought notorious armed robbers to make people sleep soundly at night. I saved P300B of public funds from being misused and abused. Kulang sa ‘ground work’? I value my work," ani Lacson  sa kanyang Twitter account . Tinanggiha

Statement of Rep. Romeo Acop, spokesman of Partido Reporma standard bearer Panfilo “Ping” Lacson, on Vice President Leni Robredo’s “walang nagawa” comments vs. Sen. Lacson [revised v2] PRESS STATEMENT JANUARY 28, 2022 Vice President Leni Robredo has really lost the context when she said Senator Panfilo “Ping” Lacson has done nothing to merit becoming the next President of the Philippines. In his sheer number of years – 51 -- in government service alone, Senator Lacson overtakes Mrs. Robredo by decades.  Being a former police general myself, I know for a fact that all promotions in the military and police are based on merit. You do not rise from 2nd Lieutenant, to Captain, to Chief of the Philippine National Police, as Senator Lacson has done, na walang “gawa” to deserve the promotions.
