  Lacson Pushes Downloading of HFEP Funds for District Hospitals October 5, 2021 -   To ensure that district hospitals get their much-needed funds, Sen. Panfilo M. Lacson pushed on Tuesday for the devolution of the budget of the Health Facilities Enhancement Program (HFEP) from the Department of Health central office. Lacson said local government unit (LGU) officials he has talked to have expressed concern that while the district hospitals are located in their areas, the funds are still lodged with the DOH central office.   FROM THE IN SIDE STORY We differ in opinion but I of course respect yours; and, I don’t mind if Leni wins the election. There’s change, if it happens. But, I must say that I am NOT comfortable of her capability to lead. A zero in the senatorial race 2019 betrays her inability to rally like the way Cory did. There’s absolutely no comparison. Cory was the only hope and she inspired all. To me, Leni is a far cry.
