 On Possible Fare Hikes Amid Oil Price Increases

October 12, 2021 - This calls for some urgency on the part of government.


While we have yet to hear from them, particularly the Department of Energy and Department of Transportation, the effect of the seemingly unabated increase in the prices of oil products could easily negatively impact the lives of many Filipinos already suffering from joblessness and hunger due to the Covid-19 pandemic.


Isa ang Pilipinas sa nangungulelat sa pag-recover sa pandemic kumpara sa mga karatig bansa natin sa Asya. Nagsisipagbukas na ang ekonomiya ng maraming bansa samantalang tayo, wala pang naaaninag na liwanag.
